Get Involved
Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.
As a member run club, we’re dependent on the skills, experience and enthusiasm of our 400+ members. Whether it’s ad hoc or on a regular basis our club relies on volunteers to get things done and make the club an even better place for all.
There are so many ways people can get involved from accounts to advertising; baking to boat building; coaching to communications; behind the scenes or on the river bank; individual or group opportunities.
Involvement allows you to influence the direction of the club. Joining a working group is also a great way to meet other members, make a difference, learn new skills, try something new, build a real sense of achievement and have fun.
Working groups
We have 8 working groups each with its own responsibilities and ambitions, aligned to those of the club. Representatives from each group will sit on the committee. If you have skills, experience of interest in any one of these please contact the relevant lead to discuss your how you can help.
If you have a specific interest or skill that we haven’t thought of and you believe it would be of benefit to our members please step forward.
