Adults

Training Programme & Development Pathway

Our peer led adult training groups are loosely based on marathon divisions or paddling aspiration.  The bulk of the adult beginner and improver groups train once a week on Saturdays, with races occurring on Sundays.  As paddlers progress there are opportunities to attend additional mid-week club training sessions.  Members with their own equipment and appropriate competency are able to train at any time, subject to the Wey Paddler Safety Code.

During the darker and colder winter months, midweek training tends to move indoors to make use of the clubs’ facilities including paddle machines, gym and hall.
